Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own hosting?
Yes. AfoPolicy runs on any hosting with PHP 8.2+ and MySQL, including normal cPanel hosting. Your clients' data stays on your server.
Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?
Only for WhatsApp messages. AfoPolicy uses the official Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API, so you need a Meta WhatsApp Business account. Everything else works without it.
Can my clients see their policies?
Yes. Each client logs in at yourdomain.com/my with a one-time code and sees their own and their family's policies. The portal is available in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
Can I import my existing client list?
Yes, from an Excel (.xlsx) file with your clients and policies.
How many websites can I use it on?
The 1 Year licence works on 1 website and the Lifetime licence on up to 3. You can move a licence to another domain from My Account.
What happens when my 1-year licence ends?
You stop getting updates and support. You get reminder emails before it ends and can renew from My Account.
Will you help me install it?
Yes. Open a support ticket after purchase and we'll help you install it and set up your WhatsApp templates.
